Abide Special Session: Navigating Holiday Challenges

At Abide Special Session: Navigating Holiday Challenges, we want to give our guests an opportunity to increase their compassion, shift their mindset, and provide some practical tips as they enter the holiday season. We know that the holidays can be especially challenging for children who have experienced trauma, as routines change and they visit with extended family. We want to help parents know that they are seen as they aim to be fully present with their kids during this time, offering them the love, support, and compassion that they need.

At this event, you will eat dinner, hear from several couples on a panel, sip on delicious drinks, and try some specially made desserts. After that, we will offer a variety of breakout sessions where you can receive encouragement about increasing our compassion and setting good expectations this holiday season. We want to encourage you before the holiday season starts so that you and your family are set up for success! This can be a time where we point the entire family to Jesus. What a gift!

Childcare will not be offered at this event. HOWEVER, we are able to reimburse families for childcare! Please email Karly at karly@hopelocal.com for more info on that!

Two weeks before the event, you will receive an email allowing you to view each breakout session's descriptions and sign up for them ahead of time!
