ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Gary Rieschel has over 25 years of operating and investing experience. He is widely recognized as a leading venture capitalist in the U.S. and China and is Founding Managing Partner of Qiming Venture Partners, a $2.8B USD fund focused on early stage investments in IT, Intersumer, Healthcare, and CleanTech in China. Beginning in 1995, Gary was the founder or lead investor in major venture capital firms in the U.S. and China including SOFTBANK Venture Capital, Mobius Venture Capital, SAIF Partners (China), and Ignition Partners (U.S.). Gary served on Softbank’s Board of Directors for five years. Prior to being a venture capitalist, Gary held senior executive positions at Cisco Systems, Sequent Computer Systems and Intel. FULL BIO
