Jeremy Smith serves as Director of Operations for Garnet Trust, a partner of the University of South Carolina. Jeremy works closely with student-athletes, brand partners, and businesses to create meaningful name, image, and likeness (NIL) opportunities that connect the spirit of Gamecock athletics with the broader community.

Drawing on his experience as both a sales and marketing professional for an international software company and as an executive recruiter, Jeremy brings a relationship-driven approach to every partnership. He oversees the day-to-day operations of Garnet Trust, manages compliance and education efforts, and ensures that each NIL collaboration reflects the values of integrity, opportunity, and impact.

Jeremy is a native of South Carolina and a lifelong Gamecock fan, and he finds great pride in helping student-athletes develop skills, confidence, and the professional network that will serve them not just during their college careers, but for decades beyond.
