Did you know that a complete prohibition of abortion is inconsistent with Jewish laws and tradition, and extreme anti-abortion state laws may violate Jews' religious freedoms to make reproductive health choices per Jewish law?

Join us as we partner with the National Council of Jewish Women and join hundreds of congregations across the United States in Repro Shabbat 2024 to learn more about Jewish laws and traditions on reproductive health and rights. Participate in Torah Study and attend our exciting post-Kiddush Rebbe's Tish to hear experts discuss the status of reproductive health and rights in Georgia and the role each of us can play in protecting reproductive rights.

Jessica Arluck, MD: Dr. Arluck is an obstetrician-gynecologist affiliated with Emory University Hospital Midtown and Grady Memorial Hospital and an Ahavath Achim member. Dr. Arluck graduated from Brandeis University and received her medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine. She has been in practice for more than 20 years.

Sherry Frank: Immediate Past President of National Council of Jewish Women, Atlanta Section, retired Executive Director of the Atlanta office of the American Jewish Committee and author of A Passion to Serve: Memoirs of a Jewish Activist, published in 2019.

Susie Greenberg: Lawyer, Reproductive Health Advocate, Small Business Owner and Candidate for Georgia's House District 53. In addition to serving on the board of Planned Parenthood Southeast, Ms. Greenberg served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster children, a mentor for legal refugees, and a volunteer college counselor for Sandy Springs Education Force.

Andrea Young: Attorney and Executive Director of the 22,000-member American Civil Liberties Union of Georgia. She is a life-long advocate for civil and human rights. Before ACLU, Ms. Young served as legislative assistant to Senator Edward Kennedy and was Vice President for External Affairs for Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, defending a woman's right to reproductive healthcare.
