Join us for a (normally) members-only tour titled "A Walk-Through Dutchman's Curve." This event will be led by NCCA board member Betsy Thorpe, the author of “The Day the Whistles Cried," a book telling the story of the deadliest train wreck in US history.
Known as “the train wreck lady," Betsy will tell the story of this tragic event by highlighting two architectural artifacts marking the site. The tour begins at 9:00 a.m. and will meet at Richland Creek Greenway, near the old White Bridge, near the intersection of Harding Pike and White Bridge Road.
