An unbiased survey of the LLM landscape for .NET development. What works? What doesn't? We will look at tools from multiple vendors, not just Microsoft.
This is a 4-hour Zoom meeting that will commence Monday, July 7 at 12:00 PM Eastern Time.
I have been a software developer since the late 1980s. I was there when Visual Basic was introduced. I was there when .NET was introduced. I started and still co-host .NET Rocks, a .NET podcast, which started in 2002 (two years before the word podcast existed). I currently produce two YouTube shows on Blazor: BlazorTrain and The Blazor Puzzle.
I started exploring AI development early on in 2023 with the YouTube series The AI Bot Show. I attended Microsoft Build 2025 in Seattle where the focus was AI, especially for developers. I immediately started experimenting when I got home.
In this four-hour session, I will share everything I know about various Large Language Models to help with mundane tasks. I will show you what works right now and how to harness it, including tools other than Microsoft's. I will also show you what we might look forward to in the future.
Of course, we will talk about security and using best practices to avoid opening holes in your systems. I have been discussing AI security on the Security This Week podcast, and I have some good advice for you.
So, join me in this journey of discovery, and empower yourself to be prepared for the future.
