About this event

Film & Media • Film

Join us for a special screening of Guan Hu’s acclaimed film, Black Dog, co-presented with the Jugbow Care Initiative. The film tells a moving story about the healing bond between people and dogs, and how love, patience, and understanding can transform both lives.

This event also marks the launch of Jugbow’s new scholarship program, which provides financial said and equipment support to shelters caring for dogs with behavior issues. The program is designed to give these dogs a better chance at adoption, with the goal that no dog is killed in a shelter and every dog finds a loving home.

As part of this celebration, the screening is open to all shelter volunteers as a heartfelt thank-you for their tireless dedication and compassion. Their hard work makes second chances possible, and this evening is our way of giving back.

*Please check in at the Alula Festival Table in the lobby upon arrival.

*Validated parking by the theater at the Trader Joe, 9290 Culver Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232
