Roundtable Speakers:

Katharine Allen, MA, is a founding member of the SAFE-AI Task Force and the American Association of Interpreting and Translation in Education (AAITE) with over 30 years of experience in the field.

Dr. Carola Berger is an ATA-certified translator with considerable expertise in machine translation who has presented at length on artifical intelligence, machine translation, and natural language processing.

Dr. Bryan Carter is the Director of the University of Arizona's Center for Digital Humanities and an Associate Professor in Africana Studies. His research centers on how the use of traditional and advanced interactive and immersive technologies changes the dynamic within the learning space.

Natalya Mytareva, MA, CoreCHI, ICE-CCP, is the Executive Director of the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters. She is a recipient of the 2023 Language Access Champion award from the National Council on Interpreting in Health Care.

Dr. Holly Silvestri is the Senior Coordinator for Translation, Training and Curriculum for NCI. She is a founding member of the SAFE-AI Task Force and the American Association of Interpreting and Translation in Education (AAITE).

David Svoboda, MA, FCCI, is the Language Access Coordinator for the Arizona Supreme Court, Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC).
