A River in Space & Time: The Allagash Wilderness Waterway
Overview
Eyes on the Allagash: A River in Space & Time
The Allagash is truly a remarkable place. It is a 92-mile-long ribbon of lakes, ponds, rivers and streams winding through the heart of the northern Maine forest. The Allagash Wilderness Waterway Foundation was founded 15 years ago with a mission to enhance the wilderness character of the Waterway, protect its environment, and preserve and foster knowledge and understanding of its natural, historic and cultural values. Working in close collaboration with the Maine Bureau of Parks and Lands, we serve as the Friends of the Allagash.
Come join us at Sea Dog Brewing for an evening of networking and conversation about the wildlife, ecosystems and cultural significance of this iconic waterway. Don't miss this unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of the Allagash Wilderness Waterway!
