A Return to the Heart is a women-centered, 2.5-hour journey where rest serves as your inner compass, leading you back to your authentic nature and truest self. In a world of endless noise and distraction, this is an invitation to come home through restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra—to soften, listen, and attune to the whispers of your heart, remembering who you’ve always been.

Join Cathy, a Certified Holistic Health Coach, Rest Coach Facilitator and Yoga Teacher. She helps busy women break free from cycles of unrest and misguided lifestyle choices. Empowering them to reclaim their joy, freedom and vibrant health through presence and awareness with the core practices of rest.

Living a life that is rooted in rest is so much more than a good night’s sleep. It’s the vital ingredient for women to live in harmony with their natural rhythms, seasons and transitions in life. During this time, Cathy will gently guide you through long-held, accessible restorative poses that invite you to surrender, trust the process of letting go, and relax deeply enough to feel your breath and the quiet beat of your own heart and soul's whispers. There will be many props to support you to feel supremely held and comfortable. From there, we rest into a Heart Centered Yoga Nidra where you are guided back home.

What is Yoga Nidra?
It is a deep meditative experience, a dreamy and luxurious “yogic nap” where you are guided into a “sleep state”. This deep rest into the deeper layers of the body, helps to regulate hormone imbalances, improve cognitive function and heal the body from pain and dis-ease, melting away stress and tension. Just 30 minutes is the equivalent to 2-3 hours of sleep.

Arrive and discover for yourself why slowing down your physical and emotional bodies you are able to reconnect and remember all that is your true nature. Leave with a more gentle and kinder way of living - more calm with a sense of clarity and ease.

For this experience, it is optional for you to bring a journal, something to write with and an eye-pillow. Wear cozy and comfortable clothes and socks and bring a water bottle. Come a few minutes early to set up your rest nest and feel prepared (not hurried or rushed) to unwind and rest.

About Cathy
Cathy helps women move beyond the constant pressures and expectations of busyness to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and restore their joy and vitality through yoga, rest practices, and holistic coaching. She is an E-RYT Yoga Teacher, Rested Path Facilitator®, and Certified Holistic Health Coach who creates empowering classes, retreats, and one-on-one experiences for women ready to feel at home in their body, heart, and soul.

• No dogs are permitted on the property.

Tickets are non-refundable. Please note that all events at Alnoba are rain or shine. If an event is cancelled due to extreme weather you will receive an email notification. If you do not get an email notifying you that the event is cancelled, that means the event is still going forward as scheduled.
