About this event
Regenerative Agriculture is perhaps the greatest untapped solution to reversing climate change that humanity has at its disposal. Returning to land practices that mimic natural ecosystems has the potential to sequester a significant percentage of human emissions while enhancing the quality of soil for the worlds farmers. Increased soil carbon levels lead to increase yields and reduced risk of flood and drought, both of which are critical for a hotter and hungrier planet.
Denver/Boulder is the hub of the regenerative agriculture movement. Boulder is home to the early pioneer organizations Savory Institute, and Rodale Institute, and Denver is now host to the Techstars Sustainability accelerator of which Regen Network and Nori are at the forefront of leveraging blockchain technologies to incentivize farmers and land holders to make the transition to regenerative agriculture.
