About the Celebration

The Stage Show

This year marks a special milestone! For the first time, our annual Kwanzaa celebration will be an all-live, non-animated production featuring actors, live music, poetry, singing, dancing, and more.

This original show, “Kwanzaa: The Village It Takes!” was written by Jessica Johnson, A Red Circle's Community Arts Director. The production was initially developed as a virtual performance during the pandemic, but what began as a pivot has blossomed into a powerful, mixed-generation stage tradition. Our impressive line-up features up-and-coming artists performing alongside well-seasoned professionals, making this a truly memorable experience.

Then, enjoy a delectable Soul Food Dinner, prepared by A Red Circle's in-house culinarians and long-time partnering chefs.

Our Mission

All of this is presented at an extremely reasonable rate. Proceeds from ticket sales will go directly towards renovating A Red Circle's community art space, The Creative Spot in Ferguson, MO, allowing us to continue providing vital arts and healing experiences to the community. We also seek donations to help offset costs and keep ticket prices at a minimum.

IMPORTANT TICKET & DINNER POLICY

• Access: All tickets (Early Bird, Standard, and At-the-Door) include full access to the Vendor Fair and the Stage Show.
• Early Bird Guarantee (Purchase by December 6, 2025): This is the only way to guarantee you receive a delicious Soul Food dinner with your ticket.
• Standard & At-the-Door Tickets (Purchased after December 6): Dinner is NOT guaranteed for tickets bought after the 12/06 early bird deadline.
• Dinner Service Priority: These ticket holders will be served after all early-bird guests have received their meals. Any remaining dinners will then be served on a first-come, first-served basis until the food runs out.
• Online Sales End: Online ticket sales will end at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 20th. Afterwards, you may purchase tickets at the door (see dinner policy above).
