A New SZN: Performance by Andraya Rand Mathis
Overview
Our next 1Hood Artivist Academy installment will be featuring artist Andraya Rand Mathis, in a performance on the fear of letting go. On December 12th from 6-8 PM Andraya will be performing A New Szn , exploring the different and nuanced emotions that we experience as we notice change within significant relationships we have in our lives. This can be extremely difficult to accept, adjust, and process new dynamics because of the fear of letting go and stepping into a new season of life. Through dance we will be focusing on the inner dialogue and feelings that come up as we choose to embrace our most authentic version of ourselves. Refreshments provided!

1Hood’s Artivist Academy was created to celebrate the next generation of artists who amplify social activism through art - while simultaneously expanding cohorts’ impact on issues of disenfranchised communities. The term artivist combines “artist” and “activist” to illustrate 1Hood’s interconnectivity between art and social justice.
