Join us for food and informal conversation with Susan Isaacs, Queens College alumna. Isaacs will discuss her time at QC, how she developed her career in the literary industry, and answer students' questions on how to achieve professional success.


Susan Isaacs was dubbed "Jane Austen with a schmear" by NPR's book critic. Besides writing fifteen bestselling novels and two films, she has been active in the literary community: She chaired the Board of Directors of Poets & Writers for twenty years and was president of Mystery Writers of America. Her most recent work, Bad, Bad Seymour Brown, received rave reviews from critics in the US and UK. Susan, a Queens College alum, lives on Long Island with her husband, a criminal defense lawyer.
