Hosted in partnership with the LA Design Festival, the California Science Center and ZGF are coming together for an evening of refreshments, design storytelling and scientific inspiration!
You're invited to join California Science Center President & CEO Jeff Rudolph and ZGF Partner Ted Hyman from 4-6pm at the ZGF Los Angeles office for a cocktail hour followed by a short presentation.
Guests can expect a brief history of the California Science Center and a behind-the-scenes look at the design of the upcoming Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center. Part of a decades-long collaboration between the Science Center and ZGF, the Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center is an inspiring addition to Exposition Park that will be the only place in the world where the public can experience a complete space shuttle stack poised as if ready for liftoff.
The conversation will explore the design evolution of Exposition Park, the legacy of the Science Center's three-decade Master Plan, and how the Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center's bold form was shaped by the aerodynamic geometry of Endeavour itself.
