Step into a world of magic and medieval adventure!
As dusk falls, young squires will embark on a legendary night filled with hands-on activities fit for nobility. Brew a potion in the apothecary, build a defense strong enough to withstand a siege of catapults and trebuchets, and master the art of jousting. Craft your own arm bracer and noble house crest, then navigate the starlit skies in our planetarium. Whether you’re a fearless knight or an aspiring wizard, this immersive experience will be one for the history books!
This event is intended for families with children ages 5+. Younger siblings are welcome to join, but are not permitted to sleep over. All attendees must purchase a ticket. Children must have an adult in their party.

Frequently asked questions
This event is intended for families with children ages 5+. Younger siblings are welcome to join, but are not permitted to sleep over. All attendees must purchase a ticket—children under 3 are free. Children must have an adult in their party, this is not a “drop off” event.
Nope! We offer “Pajama Party” tickets for our guests who would prefer to head out before lights out. This is the ideal option for families with younger siblings who want to join in the fun but are not old enough to spend the night.
Right in the exhibit halls! All overnight attendees will be sleeping on the second floor of the Science Center.
Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis on our employee lot located off of Key Highway. Visit www.mdsci.org/parking for additional nearby parking information.
A light breakfast will be provided int he morning for guests opting to sleep over. You are welcome to bring additional food and snacks which can be consumed in the cafe. You are also welcome to order food for delivery from a local restaurant.
Each person will need to provide their own sleeping bag. Bring along what you normally would take for an overnight—toiletries, pajamas, flashlight, sleeping pad, etc.
We'll say nighty-night to the dinosaurs and shut off the lights at 10:15pm. Lights will come back on at 6:30 am.
Guests not wishing to sleepover must leave the building by 9pm.
