Description

5:30 - 6:00 pm Registration & Pre-Reception
6:00 - 7:30 pm Program
7:30 - 8:30 pm Reception

We are at an inflection point: Today, we have an opportunity to shape a more just and equitable future of work that emphasizes the wellbeing of workers at the center of it. This will require understanding and perhaps challenging the role of government and business, the rules of the economy, and the ways technology is changing the game.

Join us for an evening of conversation with experts from the fields of technology and labor, as we consider how to spark change in these urgent areas and beyond.

We’ll hear from Annette Bernhardt, director of the Low-Wage Work Program at the UC Berkeley Labor Center; Andrea Dehlendorf, co-executive director of Organization United For Respect; Elisabeth Reynolds, executive director of MIT’s Industrial Performance Center; Michelle Miller, co-founder of Coworker.org; Erica Smiley, co-executive director of Jobs With Justice; Lorelei Salas, commissioner of the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs; Juliana Reyes, reporter for The Philadelphia Inquirer; D. Taylor, president of Unite Here; and Felicia Wong, president of the Roosevelt Institute.
