You may know it as U.S. Rubber or Uniroyal, but we all called it by its original name, "The Fisk," or just "Fisk.

Join CHS docents for photos, maps and more as we retell the history of a company and community anchor in Chicopee Falls, the Fisk Rubber Company.

Venue and Parking

Find us in the Bazan Community Room, on the lower level of the Chicopee Public Library.

Free parking is available in the library lot at 449 Front Street. On-street parking is also available along Ames Avenue and Front and Bell Streets.

About the Chicopee Historical Society

The Chicopee Historical Society is a non-profit dedicated to the rediscovery and preservation of Chicopee's history. In pursuit of this mission, the Society preserves artifacts related to the city's history and presents six educational programs in Spring and Fall. We rely on donations and the support of our members and volunteers to do this work.
