A Hero’s Burden is a vérité documentary following two young brothers who became national heroes after saving hundreds of lives during the October 7th Israeli music festival attack. Once thrust into the public eye, they now face their greatest test — reclaiming their lives and healing from the invisible wounds of PTSD all while grappling with the guilt of leaving behind their best friend who was ultimately taken hostage into Gaza. An intimate study of trauma, brotherhood, and the cost of heroism.
