A wonderfully and deliciously diverse tasting line-up awaits you this Saturday from noon-4pm at CBC. We love Grüner Veltliner, and the 2023 Proidl Rameln is a classic. You’ve always loved Cantina Terlano’s Terlaner white, and the Nova Domus is the 97 point step up from that. Add in Albarino from Uruguay, classic Loire Valley Cab Franc and a rich and satisfying Willamette Valley Pinot, and it’s a great tasting experience! Join us from 3-7pm on Saturday to try:

Proidl Gruner Veltliner Kremstal Rameln 2023 – Last call for pre-tariff savings! As Master of Wine Anne Krebiehl says, “The palate is juicy and slender, still with a pleasant yeastiness that gives this a youthful vibe. Its essence is slender, fresh and bright.”

Cantina Terlano Terlaner Nova Domus 2021 – The “step up” from the always popular Alto Adige blend of Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay and Sauvignon. As Suckling’s 97 point rave concludes simply: “Complex and complete.”

Juanico Albarino Canelones Faaa! 2024 – Traveling to Uruguay in search of Albarino delivers something a little different! To be honest, it smells more like Sauvignon Blanc with some wild grapefruit and fresh herb notes before turning very Albarino on the salty/crisp palate.

Ch Yvonne Saumur Champigny La Folie 2023 – Hand harvested, fermented with native yeasts and ages in concrete and loaded with ripe blackcurrant and cherry fruit, feels almost creamy in the middle, then finishes with snap and verve and a just-right whip of green herb freshness.

Flaneur Pinot Noir Willamette Valley 2022 – From former Beaux Freres winemaker Grand Coultr, this is a bit of a darker more concentrated style of Oregon Pinot Noir, Juicy cherry fruit flow through the palate accompanied by rich texture and a staining finish.

As always you can mix/match the wines on tasting for best six/12 bottle savings and enjoy them with a treat or two from the cheese case selected by Jose. This is a fine and festive fall tasting table. Come join the party!
