A Deep Dive into Fictional Technique: Scene and Panorama

A Deep Dive into Fictional Technique: Scene and Panorama

By Catholic Literary Arts
Online event

Overview

This two-part class will explore using scenes and panoramas to captivate readers and deepen meaning in fiction.

This deep-dive into craft is inspired by the essay "Fiction Techniques" from Caroline Gordon and Allen Tate's anthology, "House of Fiction." These two notable authors bring decades of thought and writing experience to the forefront as they consider how the elements of fiction intersect with the author’s goal of creating a powerful narrative using techniques and skills that can be learned, practiced, and organized into a story of unique resonance for readers.
