Ladies Time Out (LTO) is hosting our first-ever DMV – Dandy Fashion – X-Mas After Party and we’re doing it right inside APPLE Lounge DC, all night long.

This After Party is all about you…releasing the hustle and bustle of the holidays…unapologetically stepping into the vibe, the music, the beauty and the boldness of YOUR Dandy!

LTO will defiantly reclaim space by curating a queer ecosystem…that is sure to delight all sensual senses…touch…taste…sight…sound…& smell. (30+ with ID – no exceptions)

9 – 11 PM - It’s the Walkabout (check out the fits) – Lite Eats if you want ($) – Get your cocktail ($) – Hookah on the table - R&B, NeoSoul, Hip Hop, House and more.

11 – 11:30 PM – Superfine Dandy Fit Contest – 1st - $$$ - 2nd - $$ - 3rd $$

What is Dandy…Black Dandyism?

"Black Dandyism is a form of performance, identity, and individuality" which exists without a sense of gender. It’s “dressing fine" with an act of rebellion and provocation.

A fashion style that incorporates classic tailoring, vintage references (usually from the early 20th century), and a measured use of flamboyance (often bold colors and patterns, sometimes formal yet always ostentatious).

I’ve lived in the DMV for the past eight years and I’m genuinely so grateful for our queer women’s Meetup community and our Allies. I’m bringing Ladies Time Out’s (LTO) first event from the Show Me State. LTO’s rep is to show up and to free YOUR Crew to SHOW OUT. Christmas is over and it’s time for “A Dandy X-mas After Party!

Good to know:

Hookahs are available @ a $.

DUKEM Ethiopian Restaurant will have a menu of lite eats and a restaurant menu.

Kitchen closes @ 11PM

No vaping, no cigarette smoking and no marijuana smoking inside APPLE Lounge DC.

No Entry without a valid ID (30+)

For Queer women of ALL colors, trans, non-binary inclusive and Allies: Allies, please be mindful of the space you’re taking up and only consider attending if accompanying a friend that identifies with this community.
