A Dance With Earth's Elements

Danza de la Vida®, a dance therapy method created by Loreto San Juan, invites you to connect with the four levels of your being—physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual—through the four elements: earth, water, air, and fire. ✨

In this workshop, participants will explore each element and the unique qualities it offers for our well-being. You will learn essential movement practices that can be done anytime, anywhere—designed to foster self-healing, holistic balance, body awareness, and a deeper connection to the inner dance we all carry. The workshop includes meditation, oriental music therapy, guided movement practices, and time for reflection.

Allow yourself to be supported by each element as you explore groundedness, fluidity, elevation, and vitality.

Hi, I’m Christie! Originally from Miami with Cuban roots and raised in North Alabama, I’m a yogi, a dancer, and an early childhood educator with over 10 years of experience. I recently lived in Chile, where I trained with Loreto San Juan in Danza de la Vida®, and I’m now settling into beautiful East Tennessee.

Throughout my teaching journey, my body has longed for space to move, and my heart for space to expand. When life calls you back to your light, your love, and most importantly your heart—you begin to rediscover your peace and your power. Each element of the earth offers us something, and with each movement and expansion comes the gift of space to explore, create, and perhaps, to heal.
