Embroidery is a beginner-friendly craft suited for mindfulness and creativity. Come to class with an intention or choose one from class.
About this event
During this workshop, you will:
- Set a personal intention
- Prep a hoop for your project
- Practice embroidery stitches
- Design your own embroidery pattern or use one provided
- Start your embroidery design
- Learn how to finish off your project
Supplies to purchase -- Please explore the links I provide and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
- Embroidery hoop - 5" or 6" work!
- Embroidery needles - this variety pack is good, or you can get a pack of all size 7
- Embroidery floss in a variety of colors - you can get a pack or choose a few favorite colors!
- Quilting cotton or muslin- 1/4 yard is plenty, but if ordering online you'll likely need to buy a minimum of 1 yard.
- Scissors
- Pen/Paper
- Optional: Transfer pen
