Event description
GU Politics hosts U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) for a discussion on “Leveling the Playing Field.”

About this event

Due to high levels of interest, seating for this event will be first come, first served. Registration does not guarantee a seat.

The global pandemic, focus on racial inequities, and hyperpolarization of the past few years have put a spotlight on one of the defining questions of the time — how do we level the playing field.

Where do we go from here to support people and families who feel left behind, especially as we emerge from the pandemic? At the GU Politics Forum, U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren engages with the Georgetown community in exploring answers to that question. This discussion will be moderated by Fall 2021 GU Politics Fellow Rebecca Pearcey. Co-sponsors: GU College Democrats and the Georgetown Progressive Alliance.

  • This event will take place in-person at Gaston Hall on the Georgetown University campus and will be live-streamed.
  • The in-person event is only open to Georgetown University students, faculty, and staff.
