UVA Jewish Studies will host UVA's Distinguished Professor of Law and History Risa Goluboff in conversation with Rabbi Angela Buchdahl about her new book, Heart of a Stranger: An Unlikely Rabbi's Story of Faith, Identity, and Belonging, on Wednesday, November 19th at 5:30 PM in the Dome Room of the Rotunda. About Parking
Paid parking is available at Central Grounds Garage, a 10-minute walk from the Rotunda. Free parking is also available in Culbreth Garage, a 15-minute walk from the Rotunda, after 5 PM.
About Rabbi Buchdahl
Rabbi Angela Warnick Buchdahl serves as the Senior Rabbi of Central Synagogue in New York City, the first woman to lead this flagship congregation in its 185-year history. Born in Korea to a Jewish American father and a Korean Buddhist mother, she is the first Asian-American to be ordained as a rabbi in North America. She has been featured in dozens of news outlets including the Today Show, NPR, Wall Street Journal, PBS, and Newsweek's Most Influential Rabbis.
