A Conversation for Hope-The Future of Healthcare Access in Alabama

On September 9, 2025, Alabama Hopes Healthcare Summit was held at Red Mountain Theatre. Medical professionals, nonprofit leaders, faith leaders, and politicians gathered to discuss the future path for healthcare access to all Alabamians. As a follow-up to Alabama Hopes, the Alabama Coalition for Healthy Mothers and Children, Cover Alabama, and Together for Hope will be hosting "A Conversation for Hope: The Future of Healthcare Access in Alabama" via Google Meet on Monday, November 17th at 12pm and Friday, November 21st at 4pm. This page is for the November 17th event. We hope that you will mark your calendars for one of these two times and invite someone that should be at the table for the continued conversation on healthcare access, equity, and justice in these challenging times.

Each meeting will begin with a presentation by Debbie Smith, the Cover Alabama Campaign Director to update everyone on where we are in journey toward healthcare access. Following the presentation, there will a time for questions, small group discussions, and networking.
