A Child's Christmas in Wales and Christmas in the Trenches
Overview
Even in the darkest of times, when war and turmoil constantly overwhelm our senses, it’s important to remember that, throughout history, we have always been able to find ways to celebrate the holidays, to gather together and share stories, songs, laughter and tears.
Join us at Meetinghouse Arts on Dec 20 and 21 this holiday season as we remember the delight of Welsh children celebrating in Dylan Thomas’ seaside village as well as English and German soldiers finding common ground as they emerge from their WW1 trenches with spontaneous and hopeful Christmas cheer.
