The National Dance Foundation, iDance Ministry, the City of Plainfield, and the Plainfield Performing Arts Center proudly present the 10th Annual Celebration of Dance, an unforgettable evening in honor of National Dance Week 2025! Join us at Plainfield High School for a free community showcase that’s already creating a buzz across the region! The night will feature jaw-dropping performances in a dazzling range of styles, including Acro, Modern, Capoeira, Hip Hop Dance, Indian Classical, Contemporary, Chinese Traditional Dance, Line Dancing, and more. This event shines a spotlight on local New Jersey artists and celebrates the incredible richness of our arts community.Created by María Daniel, National Dance Foundation Partner and Founder of iDance Ministry, this signature event is more than a performance—it’s a movement that brings people together through the power, beauty, and diversity of dance.This event promises energy, artistry, and community spirit—come be part of the excitement that everyone will be talking about!

Where can I park?

You can park at Plainfield High School along the westerly side of the Park Avenue driveway, or in the designated parking lot at the end of Lane Avenue.

Does it cost to park?

No. There is no cost for parking at the high school or in the immediate area surrounding the high school.

Is the venue ADA friendly with wheelchair accessibility?

Yes. The venue is ADA-friendly, with wheelchair accessibility.

Is there a cost to attend?

Can I submit artwork for the poster contest?

Yes! If you want to participate in our National Dance Week poster contest, please email María Daniel at idanceministry@gmail.com. If you have questions, please email María Daniel at idanceministry@gmail.com

Are there prizes for the poster contest?

Yes! Local businesses donate gift cards for the poster contest winners at our Celebration of Dance Event. Winners must be present to receive these prizes.

Can I participate/perform?

Yes. If you are a dancer, studio, performance group, you are welcome to submit a request to perform to María Daniel at idanceministry@gmail.com.

Can I volunteer?

Yes. We are always seeking volunteers and those in need of community service hours are welcome as well. For more information, please email María Daniel at idanceministry@gmail.com
