This training is presented by: Melanie Walker, PMHNP

Melanie’s approach to care is rooted in the understanding that each person is a holistic being, with interconnected mind, body, and spirit. Her practice revolves around providing compassionate care to individuals facing various psychiatric disorders, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction. Leveraging evidence-based practices, medication management, and lifestyle interventions, she tailors her care to meet each individual’s specific needs.

With a background in emergency medicine and psychiatric care, Melanie possesses a deep understanding of the complex interplay between physical and mental health. In her practice, she adopts a collaborative and integrative approach, working closely with therapists, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for her patients. Building strong therapeutic relationships and creating a safe, non-judgmental environment are integral to her approach, allowing individuals to explore their mental health concerns openly.

Melanie’s dedication extends to the healing potential of psychedelic therapy. She is committed to guiding patients through this transformative experience, providing comprehensive education, preparation, and integration support while prioritizing their safety and well-being. She actively collaborates with researchers, therapists, and mental health professionals to expand the scientific understanding of psychedelic-assisted treatments and ensure their responsible and ethical implementation.
