In this session, we will explore how educators in K-12 are activating

transformational practices in their settings, employing the learning and

resources available through TIG.

What began as a grassroots effort in Monroe County, NY, the TIG

Consortium now has 25 years of experience in helping educators at all

levels put knowledge of ACEs into practice to address needs related to

Trauma, Illness, and Grief.

We will highlight the core knowledge and skills that have advanced the

work and offer inspiration to those striving to put knowledge into action

in their own settings. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from

the director of TIG as well as local experts in our schools and

communities taking action on ACEs.
