The 929 Summit launches on November 29 at Forum Macao, just one day ahead of the grand finals of the 929 Challenge. This inaugural event brings together the vibrant entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems of Macau, the Greater Bay Area, and Portuguese-speaking countries, creating a signature gathering that celebrates bold startup ideas and marks the beginning of the finalists’ journey to success.

Launched in 2021, the 929 Challenge is a startup competition designed to strengthen business and trade ties between China and Portuguese-speaking countries. Each year, teams from both regions present bold ideas, with finalists selected to pitch directly to investors.

Now, after five impactful years, we’re expanding the journey—from first pitch to global impact. In 2025, we introduced the 929 Summit: a one-day experience featuring 9 talks, 24 booths, and an all-day workshop. It’s more than an event—it’s a space to spark real connections and inspire practical innovation.
