9/11 Service of Remembrance

Join with family, friends, and community members as The War Memorial commemorates the 24th anniversary of September 11, 2001. This will be a moment where people of all religions, cultures, and walks of life can come together in solemn remembrance of and solidarity against the hatred that fueled those tragic events in New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and indeed the entire United States and world. 

Moments of silence will be observed for the airplane crashes that hit the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and for all lives lost on 9/11. 

September 11, 2025 8:30am 

A coffee social hour will be held in the Alger Center Community Room after the morning service for all to gather for conversation, reflection, and fellowship.
