Think you know your 90s Hip-Hop and R&B? Pull up to Our House Culture Center on Friday, August 22 for a night that’s all about the music that made and raised us.
We're talking everything from Misdemeanor to Miseducation and Boom Bap to Bad Boy. This ain't your normal trivia night, it's the vibe of the Spring time in Germantown. Whether you grew up on it or just love the sound, come test your memory on the beats, bars, and voices that shaped Black music and culture in the 90s.
The group who knows the most will walk away with a prize!
Event Details
Tickets: Tickets are $20 ahead of time and $25 at the door. Cash, Cash App, and Venmo accepted at the door.
Dress Code: 90s Fits encouraged, but not required!
Food & Drink: Complimentary food from Das Good Cafe and drinks will be available. This event is also BYOB.
Free photo: We will offer one (1) free digital photo in front of our 90s house-themed step & repeat.
Transportation: Our House Culture Center is easily accessible by bus (Route 23; get off at Germantown Ave & Johnson St). Free & metered street parking is available around the venue.
Accessibility: One entrance has two steps up with no railing. The side entrance has no steps. There are two steps with no railing within the venue space. The Our House restroom is gender inclusive. For all accessibility questions, please contact info@iloveourhouse.org.

Our House Culture Center - Our House is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization dedicated to providing a platform and space for artists to network, gain exposure, share skills and knowledge with one another. Our House hosts events, collaborative exhibitions, group projects, and more on a broad range of important issues including environmental, economic, social and cultural sustainability through the development and leveraging of local and regional partnerships.
Rasheed Z. Ajamu - Rasheed is a Germantown-born and raised current journalist and former organizer & mobilizer living in Philly. Right now, they are the primary storyteller and creator of Da Germantown Gem, which is where Black stories in Germantown shine. It's both a living record of Black experience in Germantown and a place of community. They are also the editor and a reporter for the Germantown Info Hub.
