What does it take to consistently reach 90%+ target language use in a world language classroom—and make it stick? In this session, we’ll unpack practical strategies that empower teachers to create immersive, student-centered environments where the target language thrives.

Grounded in Florida’s instructional frameworks and supported by current research, this webinar will spotlight:

  • Daily routines and scaffolds that make high target language use achievable and sustainable.
  • Techniques for building comprehensibility, confidence, and community—without reverting to English.
  • Language resources that support teachers in designing lessons rich in input, interaction, and purpose.

Participants will leave with ready-to-use strategies, visuals, and planning tools that help them meet the 90% benchmark while deepening student engagement and proficiency. Whether you're new to immersion or refining your approach, this session will help you turn aspiration into daily practice.
