8th Annual Rowraiser Wisconsin

Hey Everyone!! Can’t believe we are already at year 8 of this event!!

We are going to continue the fundraiser at Drexel Town Square this year. Hopefully this will allow more members of the community to be more involved in the action.

In years past, it was predominantly CrossFit gym members who participated, but it has expanded to teams of families, firefighters, college athletics, & businesses. Anyone and everyone can participate in the event, even if you haven’t rowed a day in your life. So start forming your teams now.

We will be doing registration on this eventbrite website; as well as through venmo. If you would like to place your order through venmo, please use @Melissa-Spangler-2 to pay and then note your shirt size (unisex) and your team name - if you have one. If you don’t have a team you can register as an individual and be placed on a team closer to the event!

The event begins with an opening ceremony, where the athletes with special needs will be recognized and celebrated. Then, teams of 8-10 athletes with all abilities row a marathon together on a machine. While participants chip away at their marathon, there are many fun things to do to keep them, as well as spectators, entertained.

Even if you aren’t participating, come dressed in your brightest swag and bring your family to cheer on participants and enjoy all of the fun activities that there will be. The atmosphere and positive energy is so vibrant & contagious with the help of Sam and Jen Dancer attending every year. All proceeds go to Dancer Love Foundation which supports athletes with special needs.
