Shrimporee is a true celebration of all things shrimp, showcasing the culinary diversity of this popular crustacean. From golden-fried shrimp baskets to zesty shrimp ceviche, visitors can indulge in a wide array of delicious shrimp dishes. The festival also features live music performances from celebrity Country and Tejano artists, arts and crafts vendors, contests, and exciting carnival rides and games for attendees of all ages.

Whether you're a seafood enthusiast, a music lover, or simply seeking an unforgettable summer adventure, Shrimporee offers something special for everyone. Join us for a weekend of FUN ON THE COAST!

Festival Hours:

Friday, Oct 17, 2025: 6 PM - Midnight

Saturday, Oct 18, 2025: Noon-Midnight

Sunday, Oct 19, 2025: Noon-6 PM

Parade:

The Annual Shrimporee Parade starts @ 10 AM on Saturday, October 18th on Commercial Street (Magnolia-Wheeler) in Downtown Aransas Pass.

Shuttles:

The Aransas Pass Chamber of Commerce provides air-conditioned shuttle buses from remote parking sites to the festival grounds free of charge for the convenience of Shrimporee guests.

Contests & Entertainment:

The Shrimp Eating Contest, Men’s & Women's Sexy Legs Contest, Mariachis, Belly Dancers, Kidz Zone, Face Painting, Culinary Stage, Games & Carnival, and Mechanical Bull Noahs Way Exotic Petting Zoo & Pony Rides are some of the activities on site.

Shrimporee hosts three stages loaded with something for everyone, from Country Western, Rock, 80’s, and Tejano.

The Whataburger Family Stage offers a variety of family-friendly entertainment throughout the day, leading up to major evening performances. The HEB Main Stage hosts concerts featuring celebrity Country & Tejano headliners as well as daily entertainment. The Clayton Homes Culinary Stage host live cooking demostrations and tastings all weekend. All three stages provide non-stop entertainmen, appealing to visitors of any age.

When it comes to shopping and dining, Shrimporee offers 100+ vendors, a large variety of food from gumbo to funnel cakes and of course SHRIMP! At least 10 non-profit groups & commercial vendors will be serving up a wide variety of delicious foods with the proceeds benefiting area projects and scholarships.
