7-26-26 | Romeo & Juliet (7:30PM Pay-What-You-Can Performance)
Overview
The classic tale of teen love, and how civil blood makes civil hands unclean. This production of Shakespeare's tragedy takes seriously our setting at Winedale, a historical site of UT's Briscoe Center for American History. Our student performers will be thinking about how the civil strife in this play can help us think about the American Civil War and its legacies, and the show is likely to feature music from that era.
