Can I watch the show on my TV?

Accepted Answer

You may be able to cast or AirPlay from compatible devices.

But please keep in mind this is an online livestream. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to watch from anywhere other than on a computer or mobile device.

Where will the livestream be broadcast?

Accepted Answer

The show will broadcast via a private YouTube link which will be sent to ticket holders an hour prior to showtime. In some instances, we may need to broadcast via an alternative platform such as Vimeo.

Question 3

Can I watch this anywhere in the world?

Accepted Answer

Yes. As long as you have internet access you will be able to watch and/or download the show.

Question 4

What is the format of the show like? Will there be silhouettes like on MST3K?

Accepted Answer

While the film plays, only the voices of The Mads will be heard riffing. Trace & Frank will only be on screen during the very beginning for a quick intro and again at the end of the show for a Q&A.

Is the show appropriate for children?

Accepted Answer

That depends on what kind of parent you are. Strong language is used, but that's about it.

Question 6

Can I still watch the event even if I can't tune in live?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Anyone who purchases a ticket prior to showtime will receive a link to download the show within 24 hours of the broadcast ending. If you don't see your email, you can always login to Eventbrite to access the Online Event Page.

I never got an email confirmation or instructions on how to access the livestream and/or download.

I missed this event! Can I buy a download of the show?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We now offer the ability to purchase downloads of shows as soon as they are available (usually within 24 hours). Shop all available downloads at Dumb Video https://dumb-industries.com/dumbvideo

What happens if the livestream is interrupted?

Accepted Answer

If for any reason the livestream gets interrupted on our end, all ticket holders will receive a link to download a recording of the show's dress rehearsal, recorded live the night before.

Have you sent out the email with the link to watch the livestream yet?

Accepted Answer

The link to access the livestream will be sent to you via email about an hour prior to showtime (so around 7pm ET). It will also be posted on the event's "Online Event Page" on Eventbrite. If you don't see it in your email, check your spam folder!

Where can I buy official Mads merchandise?

Accepted Answer

Official Mads merchandise including t-shirts, poster prints and more can be purchased at the Dumb Industries online store (https://dumb-industries.com/store)

Can I gift a ticket to a friend?

Accepted Answer

Yes! If you are doing this, make sure to enter their name and email address on the attendee's info at checkout. This way they'll receive all the emails on how to access the livestream and download the show afterwards. If you forgot to enter their info, email chris@dumb-industries.com to update.
