About this event

"Put your psyche in motion, and it will heal itself." -- Gabrielle Roth, creator of 5Rhythms

5Rhythms is a lightly guided practice where dance, spontaneous and unique within every body, is the medium and the medicine. In the space of freeform movement, we follow "the wave" of music, energy and rhythm, surrender tension and open up to the wisdom of the body as a gateway to consciousness.

There are no right or wrong moves, no steps to learn. Dress to sweat, trust your bare feet and follow the choreography of your soul.

Classes are led by Daniela Peltekova and/or Masayo Benoist, both certified 5Rhythms teachers and accredited 5RTA members.

Class schedule: 1st and 3rd Saturdays, begins November 19, 2022

Time: 2:30-4pm PT

Location: Mimoda Dance Studio, 5774 W Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90019 - entrance through the Paper or Plastik cafe.

Online Sales only (Eventbrite registration in advance preferred, or Venmo/Paypal at the door). No cash at the door.

Price at the door: $30
