We are the Colorado Brewery Running Series™ and we run for beer!

Join us for 5K & Field Day @ Cheluna Brewing Company on Saturday, June 17, 2023. This unique event will give you a chance to show off more than your fancy footwork as we take over the field at Stanley Marketplace and experience the nostalgia of childhood.

We will be bringing back some of your field day favorites and adding a few new ones with a beer twist. Each participant will receive a punch card, and a punch for each activity completed. Completed cards can be turned in to receive prizes from the Colorado Brewery Running Series, Cheluna Brewing Company, and our event partners.

Waves will begin at 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM, with field games set up for the duration of the event.

Each individual participates to complete their solo event card, but some events are partner based, so bring a friend along for the fun. Individual attendees will have the opportunity to partner with others on an event-by-event basis so nobody is left alone.

Check-In:

Look for the red check-in tent located on the west side of the Stanley Marketplace, near the bridge over the creek
Bring your ID, we card everyone! You don't have to be 21 to run, but you do have to be 21 to drink beer!

Colorado Brewery Running Series Details

The CO BRS mission is to be active, have fun and give back to our local community. Since our inaugural Colorado event in 2016, we have been able to donate over $120,000 back to local Colorado non-profits. This event will add to that tally! 10% of all proceeds go directly to a local organization that will be on site promoting their organization. So not only do you get to enjoy some healthy activity and great, local beer - you are helping us support local organizations that do important work in our community.

Important Details

You must bring a valid ID or driver's license. You do not need to be 21 to enjoy the event, but you must be 21 to enjoy the beer. Please drink responsibly. Registered, underage participants will receive a token for a FREE non-alcoholic beverage.

This event is rain or shine!

There will not be a bag check; please plan accordingly and dress appropriately for the weather.

Parking will be available at the Stanley Marketplace, and in the surrounding neighborhoods. Please plan an extra 10-15 minutes to park and walk to the west lawn.

Is public transit an option for you? Explore the bus and light rail schedules to get home safely.

Dogs and strollers are welcome at the event. However, we strongly encourage leaving your furry friends at home, or bringing a buddy to mind them if you plan on participating in the games. The nature of this event puts us in close proximity to each other, and has the occasional flying object which may be stressful for your pets.

Please drink responsibly. We always encourage carpooling and safe, designated drivers.

Colorado Brewery Running Series

The Colorado Brewery Running Series is about inspiring Coloradans to Be Active, Have Fun, and Give Back.

We host untimed family-friendly 5K fun runs that start and end at some of Colorado's best breweries. Participants walk, jog, or run approximately 3.1 miles, then drink beer! Everyone is invited to enjoy the day’s entertainment: live music, great food, giveaways, and activities with partners and sponsors. Everyone receives a craft brew, and collectors pint glass or seasonal swag item. A portion of proceeds from each event helps support local Colorado non-profits.

We also host the Colorado Virtual Distance Challenge - a monthly, monthlong virtual challenge that allows you to earn rewards based on the number of miles you run throughout the month.
