Join us for The Donnie Baumann Foundation’s very first community event — a 5K run and Kid Dash at beautiful Crandon Park! We’re coming together on what would have been Donnie’s 60th birthday to celebrate his life, legacy, and passion for fitness.

Get ready to start your morning energized with the 5K at 7:00 AM, followed by a fun and spirited Kid Dash at 8:30 AM — perfect for the whole family. And as a special tribute to Donnie’s favorite artist, you’ll hear plenty of Bruce Springsteen tunes throughout the event!

Come celebrate Donnie’s life with us in a big way — bring your friends, family, and community spirit for a day of remembrance, hope, and support.

If this cause is close to your heart but you can't attend the event, please consider making a donation here. If you know someone who is struggling or has lost their life to addiction, your gift is a powerful way to honor them—helping us support individuals in recovery and work toward lasting change in our community. Please note: this is a donation only and does not register you for the race—official registration must be completed on RunSignUp.

About the Cause:The Donnie Baumann Foundation was created in loving memory of Donnie, who lost his life to fentanyl poisoning. Our mission is to break the stigma around addiction and support those on the path to recovery. Proceeds from the Run for Recovery 5K will fund scholarships to help individuals access residential treatment programs. Your support directly helps someone take the first step toward healing and hope.
