53rd Annual Conference on Sail Training and Tall Ships
Overview
The Tall Ships America Annual Conference on Sail Training and Tall Ships gathers ships’ masters, crewmembers, program administrators, educators, environmentalists, port representatives, festival managers and more for an information-packed three day conference. Topics include vessel operations, regulatory issues, management, educational programming, and safety at sea, as well as media relations, marketing, funding, communications, and port event organization. We provide grants to those that qualify and offer a virtual conference for crew members.
The theme for this years conference is: Traditional Sails, Modern Winds
Join us for our 53rd Annual Conference as we explore how tall ships and education under sail remain deeply relevant in today’s society and with contemporary learners. Sessions will explore how organizations can honor maritime traditions while embracing modern tools and digital resources to reach new audiences and strengthen professional development within our community, weaving together the enduring lessons of the sea with contemporary opportunities for growth, engagement, and discovery.
