You will receive free practice time during open wheel times.

• When: Saturdays at 10:00 AM. October 25 - November 22.
• Where: Potter’s Touch, a welcoming, community-driven studio filled with creativity and inspiration!
• Why: Because you deserve to have fun, learn a new skill, challenge yourself, and make new connections!

• Clay and tools are sold separately. The potter’s wheel class itself is a service and is not subject to sales tax. By purchasing clay and tools separately from the class, you’ll save $20!
• Quality tool kits are available for $25 or you’re welcome to bring your own. They will be available for purchase on the first day of class.
• A 12 lb. bag of clay is $35 + tax, includes kiln firings and glaze use, and can be purchased on the first day of class.
• No outside clay is permitted.
• You’ll get a free apron to keep!
Helpful Info:
• Long nails are not recommended.
• Long hair must be tied back.
• Feel free to bring a hand towel to use while throwing.

Health and Safety Disclaimer (Pacemakers)
If you have a pacemaker or similar medical device, you are strongly encouraged to consult with your physician before participating in any pottery activities that involve motorized equipment such as pottery wheels.
Statement from Shimpo (Manufacturer):
“Customers with pacemakers should always consult with their physicians first when using motor-run or electronic products. Our RK-3E uses a magnetic motor and, when in use, the user’s chest is directly over the motor. The motor has a strong pull and therefore is not recommended or advised for people with pacemakers. Wheels that are belt-driven also give off a pull and the user’s chest is also near the motor while in use, which makes them also not recommended for people with pacemakers. The health of our customers is important and customers should always consult with their physicians first.”
Health and Safety (Cuts or Open Wounds)
Participants with cuts, scrapes, or open wounds are advised not to participate in pottery classes or activities until fully healed. Clay, water, and shared tools can carry bacteria and may increase the risk of infection. Potter’s Touch LLC is not responsible for any injury, illness, or infection resulting from participation with such conditions. You are responsible for managing your own health and ensuring appropriate precautions are taken.
Release of Liability
In consideration for being permitted to participate, you hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Potter’s Touch LLC, its owners, instructors, employees, volunteers, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, or liability of any kind, whether arising from negligence or otherwise, that may occur before, during, or after participation.
This release applies to personal injury, illness, property damage, theft, emotional distress, and death.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Potter’s Touch LLC and the Released Parties from any claims, demands, liabilities, damages, expenses, or attorney’s fees arising from or related to your participation in any activities offered by Potter’s Touch LLC.
