Join us for a 5 week intermediate wheel throwing class for those with pottery experience (basic concepts must be established).

Classes will meet on 6/22, 6/29, 7/6, 7/13 and 7/20 from 5-7:30p

  • Wheel-throwing class series for intermediate throwers with experience in centering, pulling walls, shaping, and trimming
  • This class style is a great "next step" for those who have attended one of our beginner 4 week series sessions
  • Instruction and demos will be provided throughout classes, but class is overall more independent in nature compared to the beginner 4 week series
  • Classes will meet once weekly on a designated day for 2.5 hours of creative freedom and instruction
  • Ages 16 and up
  • Includes aprons, towels, tools, clay**, glazes and firings, studio tour and overview of the firing process


Classes 1-3: Throwing

Class 4: Trimming and Handles

Class 5: Glazing

Pieces will be ready for pickup 3-5 weeks after completion of classes.


Class minimum = 3 students

Class maximum = 6 students

If class does not meet the minimum student requirement (3) it will be cancelled and students can apply credit to a future wheel throwing series class.


Refund/Cancellation Policy: With at least 48 hours notice before your first night of class starts you may: Reschedule/credit your session for another session (pending availability of spots) or cancel for a refund. After the 48 hour period prior to start of first week of class we are unable to offer either of these two options, for any reason, including COVID, illness, injury or unexpected travel.

No make up options for missed classes if you do not notify the studio at least 1 hour prior to class start time. Best efforts will be made to accommodate rescheduled sessions. If you miss trimming week without providing the studio with notice, your pieces will be trimmed for you and a makeup class will not be offered for that week.

Eventbrite fee is non-refundable.

There is no public restroom on site (porta potty only).

Short fingernails are strongly recommended :)

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class start time.

Some of our farm animals may make guest appearances (miniature horses, chickens, dogs, cats). Please let us know of any animal allergies or aversions.

**Limit of 25# of clay per class member; additional clay can be purchased (price varies)
