Scaling a software company is chaotic, rewarding and full of lessons you don’t see coming. As your team grows, so do the challenges... alignment gets harder, hiring mistakes become more expensive, and what worked with 10 people definitely won’t work with 70. Join Kyle Lacy as he walks through the five lessons learned while leading teams from 10 people to over 70. From hiring (and firing) to keeping your team focused when everything is a priority, this talk will give you the unfiltered, practical insights he wishes he had earlier in his career.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Kyle Lacy has spent the last 17 years building, scaling, failing, and succeeding in high-growth software. He’s currently the CMO at Jellyfish, and before joining the team there, he co-founded Lessonly, a company that grew to over 230 employees and impacted countless lives after its acquisition.

Kyle has also led teams at Seismic, OpenView, Salesforce, and ExactTarget. Outside of work, he’s the proud father of two wonderful boys, a dog owner, and a collector of far too many books on World War II.
