Summer is here! Let's get together like we used to....block party style. Come and join us at the 4th Annual Block Party and Community Fun Day hosted by the Beulah T. Whitby Foundation at the Alpha Kappa Alpha Foundation of Detroit Building. There is ample free parking available on Trumbull, Lafayette, and Fort Streets. We have activities to ensure that there's something for everyone! Please save the date and plan to attend the annual event to close out the summer season.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Foundation of Detroit (AKAFD), a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, is the fundraising entity of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Alpha Rho Omega Chapter. AKAFD was established in 1991 to provide service to the community. Its mission statement is as follows: “Alpha Kappa Alpha Foundation of Detroit is a voluntary organization that promotes lifelong education, positive health practices, community involvement, and encourages professional and personal growth.”
