49 RPMs: Recovery, Prevention, and Monitoring System

This pilot initiative is designed to protect residents from vehicle theft in the most vulnerable areas of the 49th Precinct. The program will enhance our ability to identify suspects and recover stolen vehicles more efficiently. Participants will be provided with a tracking device that will be installed within their vehicles. To participate, residents must have access to the applications compatible with the provided tracking device. Participating officers will also engage the community by providing education on best practices for vehicle protection and theft prevention.
