What entrance do I use?

Enter directly from St Rt 309/Harding Hwy at main gate for Allen County Fairgrounds.   Gates B & C will be used in 2026.  Gates B & C are located at the new MOOrice Mascot  20ft tall Fair Mascot by the overhead LED billboard on St Rt 309. Gate A is by the Walmart gas station, park inside the gates

Do I have to buy my ticket in advance?

Accepted Answer

VIP ticket online gets you early bird access at 7AM.  If you don't have have the QR code to scan, you will have to pay cash at the gate, wait for change, wait longer in line.  Online tickets will be scanned and directed through the gate quicker.

Question 3

Do I park outside the gate and walk up to the ticket booths?

Accepted Answer

No.  All parking will be inside the fairgrounds.  All 4 heated buildings will have the door unlocked, and you can park close to any building A, B, C or D.  There will be a designated parking for the Jeep Corral held for the Jeep &  4x4 Truck Invasion.  General attendees are asked not to park in.

Where do I park my Jeep/4x4/Truck for the trophy contest?

All Jeep Invasion & 4x4/Truck contestants will be directed to a  enter at Gate A.  Gate A is located West of the main Harding Hwy entrance. Gate A access road is between MOOrice and the Walmart gas station. Jeep Corral is designated parking area just inside the main entrance.

Is there food available?

Yes, we have outdoor food trucks with Buckland acres bistro, and indoor food catering, drinks, roasted nuts and popcorn vendors. There will be breakfast and lunch options available for purchase Sunday January 26th.

Question 6

Can I get in Saturday January 25th?

Accepted Answer

No.  No outside attendees will be allowed on fairgrounds property on set up day 1-24-2026!  This is for liability, security and theft prevention as our vendors set up.  Anyone that attempts to come into the gates on 1-24-26 without a vendor armband, will be trespassing.  Please come Sunday at 8AM

When is this event?

LimaSwapMeet is ALWAYS the last Sunday in January.  This is for RaceCar, truck, classic car, muscle car, garage equipment, tools, dirt track, late model, dragrace, 4x4, Jeep, Diesel truck enthusiasts.  Each year we have new & returning vendors with over 100,000 parts for sale.

Do kids get in Free?

Accepted Answer

Children under the age of 12 get in Free.  Children must be accompanied by a legal adult.  Adults accompanying minors are liable for parts or products that children may handle, damage or break while at the event.  There are trivia prizes each year exclusively for kids at our Winners Circle table.

Question 9

Do I need to pay extra to get in the door prizes?

Accepted Answer

Door prizes are FREE to enter.  There will be a drawing exclusively for attendees that sign up on the website early.  Door prizes on 1-25-26 will be every hour.  You must be present to claim your prize.  Prizes range from hats, flags, gift cards, tools and Cash.

Who is in charge of the Lima Swap Meet each year?

Ultimate Racing Promotions LLC is the event promoter for its 11th year for 2026.  We are excited to bring back the Lima GIANT Auto Parts swap meet for its 41st year at the Allen County Fairgrounds.  This is our only event for URP LLC and LimaSwapMeet.com.  It's always the last Sunday in January.

Can I leave and come back in?

Accepted Answer

Yes, once you have a VIP armband or hand stamp at the gate, if you need to leave and come back you can.

When are the best deals and do I need to come early?

Accepted Answer

The best deals and lowest prices are always the LAST couple hours of the show?  Vendors have been here all morning and Attendees & buyers that come after 12/Noon usually get the best prices.  Don't be afraid to offer a vendor your price or haggle after noon.  You will be shocked at the Discounts.

Can I still come after church or lunch?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  Many attendees come after 11am or noon.  There is plenty of parking, and some of the closest parking spaces have opened back up and you can get close to the buildings and closer walk inside.

When are the trophies for the Jeep & 4x4 invasion given away?

Accepted Answer

Jeep Invasion & the 4x4 trophies will be at 2pm, Sunday January 25th 2026.

When should I arrive with my Jeep Invasion entry?

Accepted Answer

Jeep Invasion & 4x4/Truck entries should arrive after 9am at Gate A.  Judging will be between 10am and 1pm.  Awards will be announced at 2pm.  Jeep/4x4/Truck show entries will be directed to a Jeep Corral parking area, on the North Side of Merchants building & Youth Activities Building.
