We are excited for you to join us for the 40th Anniversary of Delta Days at the Virginia General Assembly! This year, we will enjoy two exciting and impactful days celebrating our theme: Commonwealth of Change: 40 Years of Delta Leading the Way.

Over two days, we will deep dive into the issues impacting our communities, hear from powerful Soror voices in Social Action, and celebrate our DDVGA roots.

DAY 1: Saturday, December 6, 2025 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM | Virtual Zoom Webinar

Day 1 will feature virtual opening remarks from our regional and state leadership; a tribute to our DDVGA Founders, the Richmond Alumnae Chapter & Soror Yvonne Lewis (Omega Omega); a powerful virtual fireside chat exploring state-level advocacy and the impact of local voices on statewide issues; an extended LIS training & legislative agenda overview; as well as breakout sessions.

The STATE of Action: The Power of Local Voices in Statewide Impact

This fireside chat dives into how targeted advocacy, relational organizing, and coalition power are reshaping politics at the state level. Attendees will learn how advocacy groups turn national priorities into state action, navigate shifting political landscapes, and drive structural change from the ground up. While federal debates grab headlines, the real policy wins are happening in statehouses—where data, storytelling, and strategy combine to move legislation and build lasting power.

DAY 2: Monday, January 26, 2026 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM | In-Person Patrick Henry Building, East Reading Room (1111 East Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23219) & Virginia General Assembly Building (201 North 9th Street, Richmond, VA 23219)

Day 2 brings us together in person at the Patrick Henry Building & Virginia General Assembly for continued programming; networking, and community building. Day 2 will include in-person opening remarks from our regional and state leadership; a tribute to our DDVGA Founders, the Richmond Alumnae Chapter & Soror Yvonne Lewis (Omega Omega); our group photo; legislative meetings; live House of Delegates and Senate Chamber Sessions; and a catered lunch by Mama J's.

Attire: Red Delta business attire for both Day 1 (cameras will be on) and Day 2. Please also wear or bring comfortable shoes for Day 2.
